Among other things, you’ll find articles to help you find out and discover the best time to visit certain places in the world, so you can make the most of your trips. But other topics will also explain what there is to do once you’re there.
Tourism Articles and Maps
The “Actualitix” blog is divided into several sections. The first ones are the ones mentioned above, but you’ll also find other varied tourism-related topics. For example, you can check out the “Top” category, which features rankings on travel themes—such as the most visited countries in the world or the best ski resorts in France.
On Actualitix, you can also find maps. These can be any type of map related to a country, region, department, or city. They may include administrative maps, tourist maps, transportation maps, and more. These maps can be useful if you’re planning a trip or want to explore and learn more about those places.
The “Other Articles” section in the tourism menu includes posts that can’t be tied to a specific country or to France in general. For instance, a topic like motion sickness isn’t specific to any one country, so it would be listed in that category.
Feel free to search for other content on the “Actualitix” blog—an article, a destination, or a map—using the search bar. You’ll find it at the top of the page, and it has the advantage of showing suggestions in a drop-down menu as you type, before you even run the search.
You can also share your opinion through the polls available on the blog. The poll results will help inspire and shape new articles. Since France is one of the world’s favorite destinations, you’ll find plenty of posts about its tourism appeal—especially the must-see places to visit.
